Product Overview
Condensed-aerosol extinguishers are a modern alternative to traditional pressurized extinguishers for protecting enclosed equipment. Instead of storing liquid or gas under pressure, they contain a solid aerosol-generating compound. When ambient temperature crosses the activation threshold (commonly 170°C), a thermal column ignites the compound, which rapidly expands into a fine potassium-based aerosol that interrupts the chemical chain reaction of combustion — extinguishing the fire without depleting oxygen.
Because there is no pressure vessel, no moving parts and no battery, these units are exceptionally reliable and maintenance-light: nothing to leak, no annual pressure check, and a long agent shelf life. They are mounted inside the space to be protected (distribution panels, UPS cabinets, CNC control boxes, ATMs, vehicles, boats), wired to a fire panel or used as standalone units. After discharge they leave a light, non-conductive residue that is easily cleaned from electronics.
