Commercial kitchens are among the highest-risk fire environments because cooking oils and fats ignite at temperatures far above those of ordinary combustibles, and a grease fire can flash over within seconds. A standard portable extinguisher is often too slow and can spread burning oil. The CMDS-series kitchen automatic fire suppression system solves this by combining heat detection, automatic agent discharge, and automatic interlocking of the gas valve and ventilation power.
The system is built around a stainless-steel agent cylinder charged with a wet-chemical extinguishing agent formulated specifically for cooking-medium (Class K / F) fires. When the fusible-link detection chain reaches its activation temperature, the cylinder discharges through a network of distribution pipes and nozzles aimed at the cooking surfaces, hood and duct. A simultaneous mechanical release closes the gas shut-off valve and cuts power to the exhaust fan, removing the oxygen and heat sources. After discharge, a cooling and saponification effect prevents re-ignition.
These units are manufactured by certified Chinese fire-equipment factories and are supplied in single-bottle (CMDS10-1 / CMDS13-1) and double-bottle (CMDS20-2) configurations to match the number of protected appliances and hood length.
